Tactical Talent Recruitment is excited to partner with one of the world’s leading manufacturing businesses in the bathroom sector. They are seeking an ambitious and commercially aware Sales Support/Key Account Executive to join their West Dublin-based back-office team.

Role Overview

This role will appeal to anyone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative sales support team and who proactively goes about their day delivering the highest standards in customer service, administration, external sales team support, and key account management.

You will be representing a truly global brand leader in its’ sector, a name synonymous with excellence. Dealing primarily with key accounts in the trade sector you’ll be instrumental in developing relationships with some of the company’s largest customers.  

Key Responsibilities

·         You will play a key role in nurturing and growing existing high-value accounts

·         Work closely with decision-makers in the trade sector and indirect customers in the construction sector including Architects, Designers, and Project Managers

·         Attend trade events from time to time and represent the company as a brand ambassador

·         Work closely with the other internal back-office teams

·         Support the field sales team in managing their relationships with key customers including setting appointments for them

·         Dealing with incoming inquiries from customers regarding orders, deliveries, and requests for quotations

 Person Profile

·         Previous experience in an internal sales role is essential

·         Experience in working with large key accounts is preferable

·         Construction/Trade sector experience is a plus

·         Tenacious in your attitude to sales and account management

·         CRM Experience

·         Excellent time management and organisational skills

·         Strong knowledge of competitor activity and the impact on market share

·         Experience with Salesforce and all MS Office Products preferable

You will help to support a bold and dynamic customer centric environment.   You will assist and support the Sales Team to ensure that customers receive an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities & Duties

  • Deal with incoming calls from all over ROI to the highest standards
  • Responsible for preparing and administering orders and quotations and dealing with deliveries and queries
  • Follow up with customers to ensure they are aware of any back orders and, if required update SAP accordingly
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the customer supply chain process.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in the company database/CRM
  • General office administration
  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationship
  • Proactive outbound calls to indirect customer to include, Architects, Designers, Contractors, Plumbers and Merchants
  • Project tracking of existing area pipeline and capturing intelligence in our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and all critical fields are maintained
  • Recognising and converting the opportunity to make valuable appointments for the External Sales Team
  • Strict adherence to customer returns policy with no deviations
  • Pro-active investigational tracking of projects within defined regional territory.
  • Understanding response time requirements when working on pricing enquiries
  • Working as a team with the external sales team
  • Occasionally attending offsite customer meetings with external sales team
  • Meet KPI targets for volume and quality of quotations

Skills 

  • Basic product knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Ability to sell
  • Previous experience in the construction industry or similar would be an advantage but not essential
  • Proactive attitude – it is essential you are comfortable in adopting a pro-active approach to customer engagement both verbally and occasionally face to face
  • Excellent communication skills – must be able to communicate with all customer types at all levels both verbally and in writing as well as occasional face to face meetings with customers.
  • Attention to detail – maintaining a high degree of data accuracy and attention to detail is essential in providing a consistent level of service and support both externally and internally utilising the CRM system
  • Work load management – ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work load
  • Competitor knowledge – a basic understanding of key competitors, how they sit in the market place and the effect on share of wallet
  • Agility and flexibility to be a complete team player and help others as and when required.
